Bahrain Start 3x3 Campaign in Sanya

Bahrain’s national 3x3 basketball team begins its campaign at the 6th Asian Beach Games in Sanya today, opening Group C action against Qatar at 12:10pm Bahrain time, before facing India later in the day at 2:15pm. Kazakhstan complete the group.
The Kingdom’s squad in Sanya features Bogdan Dragovic, Nasser Al Mosawi, Austin Ajukwa, and Mohammed Kowayed, who was called up as a last-minute replacement for the injured Milos Supica. The Bahrain Olympic Committee confirmed the change, with Kowayed linking up with the team ahead of tip-off. The team concluded its final preparations following its return to Sanya on Thursday, after completing an overseas training camp in Hangzhou earlier this month.
Team manager Ahmed Elias, along with members of the administrative delegation, attended the official technical meeting for the 3x3 basketball competition, where key regulations and competition procedures were confirmed.
