Merry mix of Eid Al Fitr festivities begins across Bahrain today

Eid Al Fitr festivities kick off today (April 10), offering a vibrant calendar of events across Bahrain until April 15.

Most events are set for the evenings after 5pm, allowing you to celebrate with your loved ones under the twinkling lights in popular destinations including The Avenues, Adliya Block 338, Bahrain Bay, and Al Liwan.

The events feature dazzling light shows, live music, and a dose of culture with Manama Nights and the Annual Fine Arts Exhibition at the National Museum, both starting at 6pm.

If you are looking for an activity to keep the children entertained, head to the Muharraq Model Youth Centre Theatre in Busaiteen on April 11 for “Chance 2 Dance,” an engaging theatrical show starting at 6 pm.

You can catch side-splitting laughter with renowned comedian Jayvijay Sachan’s performance at the Golden Tulip Hotel on April 12 for an unforgettable Eid celebration filled with humour and joy.

Witness the magic of the “Colours of Rio” Roaming Parade at Marassi Galleria from April 10 to 20.

Safety During Festivities

The Director-General of Traffic, Brigadier Shaikh Abdulrahman bin Abdulwahab Al Khalifa, reassured residents that the Directorate has made arrangements to ensure smooth traffic flow throughout Eid Al Fitr, especially near mosques, commercial malls, and event venues.

These measures include monitoring traffic through smart systems and patrols, with continued online support through the government portal and eTraffic app.

The Director-General extends Eid greetings to the public, urging everyone to follow traffic rules and cooperate with the police for a safe and enjoyable holiday.
