Bahrain declares holiday on Prophet's birthday

His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, today issued a circular regarding the public holiday commemorating Prophet Mohammed's date of birth.
Under the circular, the kingdom’s ministries, state departments and public institutions will be closed on Saturday, 8 October 2022.
As Saturday is already an official holiday, Sunday, 9 October, will be given in lieu, the circular added.
