BPCS initiatives reviewed
As part of showcasing charity and voluntary work undertaken by the Bahrain Parents Care Society (BPCS), Health Minister Faeqa bint Saeed Al Saleh yesterday held a meeting with the Society’s board chairman Ahmed Mohammed Al Banna.
The Society’s plans, initiatives connected with community services in supporting elderly citizens and boosting their interaction and communication with the society were discussed in the meeting. The Minister praised the society’s important role and objectives in the service of elderly persons as well as the programmes, projects and humanitarian initiatives. BPCS Vice Chairman Isa Ahmed Abul Fateh, Treasurer Hassan Eid Bu Khammas and Secretary-General Fareed Mohammed Al Mahmeed were present on the occasion.
The delegation appreciated her efforts in supporting the society’s goals during her previous term as Minister of Social Development.
Al Banna and his accompanying delegation presented a commemorative shield to the Health Minister and expressed their confidence that she would continue her efforts in supporting the society’s objectives and assisting the services provided by the society to the elderly people in recognition of their past services to the Bahraini society.
The delegation reviewed significant projects accomplished by the society recently in the meeting.
They also praised the support provided by Health Ministry officials to the society.
