HM King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and Oman’s Sultan Haitham bin Tariq reaffirmed the importance of maritime security and regional stability during a phone call on Sunday.
The two leaders reviewed the strong bilateral relations between the two Gulf nations and discussed developments across regional and international arenas.
A key outcome of the call was their joint emphasis on safeguarding freedom of navigation in the Strait of Hormuz and other international waterways. Both sides described secure maritime routes as essential for the uninterrupted flow of global trade and for supporting wider economic stability.
The leaders also exchanged views on shared regional concerns, underscoring continued coordination on issues of mutual interest.
