'Jurassic Park' star Sam Neill says cancer-free after gene therapy

Los Angeles: The celebrated actor Sam Neill has shared the uplifting news that he is now cancer-free following his participation in a groundbreaking medical trial in Australia.

After traditional treatments became less effective for his condition, the actor turned to a specialised clinical study. The recovery was made possible through a specific type of cell therapy that works by modifying a patient’s own immune system to target the illness more effectively.

During a recent media appearance, Neill expressed his excitement over his latest scans. He noted that the success of this trial has allowed him to look forward to returning to his professional work in the film industry very soon.  

This journey began several years ago when the actor was first diagnosed with a serious form of blood cancer. While initial treatments provided temporary relief, he eventually faced a point where new options were necessary.

Neill credits this successful outcome to the rapid advancements in medical science and the dedicated work of the research teams involved. 

He continues to partner with health foundations to push for expanded access to these treatments. His goal is to ensure that others in the region and worldwide can benefit from the same medical breakthroughs that aided his recovery.
