Manama and Washington ties “strategic,” says Deputy King

The deputy King, His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, received the United States Ambassador to the Kingdom of Bahrain, Stephanie L. Hallett, at Gudaibiya Palace on Tuesday.
During the meeting, Prince Salman highlighted the longstanding relationship between Bahrain and the United States, describing it as a strategic partnership spanning multiple sectors. He noted that this cooperation has played an important role in addressing regional security challenges.
The Deputy King reaffirmed Bahrain’s commitment to strengthening bilateral ties and expanding cooperation, building on existing agreements and joint initiatives. He pointed in particular to the Comprehensive Security Integration and Prosperity Agreement (CSIPA) as a framework for advancing shared interests and mutual goals.
Regional and international developments were also discussed, along with issues of common concern. Prince Salman emphasized the role of the United States, together with its allies, in supporting regional and global security and stability.
The meeting was attended by Shaikh Isa bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Minister of the Prime Minister’s Court, and Hamad bin Faisal Al Malki, Minister of Cabinet Affairs.
