Qatar Airways resumes daily flights to Bahrain and Kozhikode from May 1
Qatar Airways has announced the resumption of daily flights to Bahrain (BAH) and Kozhikode (CCJ) starting May 1, 2026, as part of its ongoing phased restoration of its global network.
The airline said the latest reinstatements follow the return of daily services to Dubai (DXB) and Sharjah (SHJ) from April 23, 2026, and to Damascus (DAM) from May 1, 2026. These moves aim to strengthen connectivity across the Middle East and beyond, while offering passengers greater travel flexibility.
Qatar Airways is gradually rebuilding its international network across six continents, restoring key routes in stages as operations continue to expand.
Passengers are advised to check the airline’s official website or app for the latest updates and ensure their contact details are current to receive notifications on schedule changes.
The airline has also introduced flexible options for affected bookings. Tickets issued on or before April 30, 2026, for travel between February 28 and September 15, 2026, are eligible for complimentary date changes up to October 31, 2026, subject to availability and fare conditions. Passengers may also request refunds for unused tickets under standard fare rules, with processing times up to 28 working days.
In case of disruptions, additional fee-free changes will be allowed until October 31, 2026, maintaining the original cabin class, along with penalty-free refund options.
