Let’s work for peace: HM King Hamad

“We all agree that joint action will bring about peace and lay the foundations for stability, no matter how difficult the situation is or how long it takes.”
This was His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa’s message as he received last night at Al Sakhir Palace well-wishers from the Capital Governorate marking the Holy Month of Ramadan.
HM the King delivered a speech in which he said that human beings are facing unprecedented circumstances and multiple challenges, adding that the world is seeking to protect its humanity and confronting the woes of wars and conflicts.
Present in the occasion were His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, HM the King’s Personal Representative HH Shaikh Abdulla bin Hamad Al Khalifa, HM the King’s Representative for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa amd Supreme Council for Youth and Sports First Deputy Chairman, General Sports Authority Chairman and BOC President HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa.
His Majesty extended thanks to all citizens who have become, through their noble ethics, a model of coexistence and tolerance, so that Bahrain, as the world knows it, remains a home to harmonious human civilisations.
He praised citizens’ knowledge as well as their firm belief in those lofty values, to be the best who disseminate them and implement them in their lives.
“This our message to all the people in Bahrain in such blessed times, thanking from the bottom of the heart everyone who sincerely strives for the sake of the nation’s development and progress and contributes to maintaining its security and safety,” he concluded.
HM the King welcomed the audience during this blessed month of mercy and forgiveness, wishing the Kingdom of Bahrain and its loyal people many happy returns.
The well-wishers greeted HM the King and congratulated him on the Holy Month, wishing him good health and happiness and Bahrain and its loyal people further progress and prosperity under his wise leadership.
