Crown Prince Center for Training and Medical Research gets accreditation

The Crown Prince Center for Training and Medical Research has obtained the international accreditation certificate from Health Specialties Authority again, for a period of four years after the center fulfilled all the criteria for institutional accreditation for training in postgraduate health professional programs accredited by Saudi Commission for Health Specialties.

This came in light of the vision of the Commander of the Royal Medical Services Major General Professor Shaikh Khalid bin Ali Al Khalifa to take health training to a high level of technology to assist the various health sectors in Bahrain, and the center under the directives of Director of Programs of the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties and the regular representative of the Commission at the Military Hospital Colonel Dr. Nayef Abdulrahman Lori.

The center aims to offer training based on the latest international healthcare methods to enable medical personnel to provide the best health services to the citizens of Bahrain and the region, Thus, doctors affiliated with the Health Specialties Authority from Bahrain and Saudi Arabia will be able to obtain the necessary medical training to pass the various training programs offered by the Saudi Commission.

Professor Shaikh Khalid confirmed that this accreditation came as a result of the Royal Medical Services’ efforts during 2020, after obtaining the comprehensive accreditation from the Australian Medical Standards Authority and the international accreditation certificate from the Society for Simulation in Healthcare (SSH) in the US, pointing out that these certificates will develop the level of medical services provided in Bahrain and GCC.
