HM the King thanked by Interior Minister

His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa has received a cable from the Interior Minister Lieutenant-General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdulla Al Khalifa, extending sincere thanks and gratitude and voicing loyalty to him for receiving the Bahraini force, which participated in the Operation Decisive Storm in Yemen. The minister paid tribute to HM the King, asserting the honourable role played by the Kingdom in safeguarding its national sovereignty, protecting its Arab identity and defending the interests of the Arab nation. He voiced pride in the Bahrain Defence Force (BDF), which he said, has reached the highest levels of military preparedness and professionalism thanks to the leadership of HM the King, the Supreme Commander. The Interior Minister also took pride in the brave roles played by Royal Guard Commander Brigadier-General Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, and the Royal Guard Special Force Commander Major Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa in the Operation Decisive Storm, as part of the Saudi-led Arab Coalition to restore legitimacy in Yemen. The minister affirmed that Shaikh Nasser and Shaikh Khalid were at the frontline of the battlefield alongside the BDF officers and soldiers, to support the right and defend the Arab Nation's sovereignty and interests. They also set the example for Bahraini youth in sacrifice and redemption, he added.
