Welfare measures reviewed
Works, Municipalities Affairs and Urban Planning Ministry Undersecretary Ahmed Abdulaziz Al Khayyat toured the fifth constituency in the Governorate of Muharraq and assessed citizens’ needs. He was accompanied by Muharraq Municipal Council Vice-Chairman Hassan Farooq Al Duwei, representative of the fifth constituency and ministry’s officials.
He directed engineers working with the roads and sewage disposal departments to study all demands and proposals and take expedite measures to clean up rainwater drainage network. He reiterated the ministry’s keen follow-up of all citizens’ needs and demands their parliamentary or municipal representatives, under directives from the Minister of Works, Municipalities Affairs and Urban Planning.
