Three policemen injured as car thief attempts to flee
A 38 year old man was arrested after injuring three policemen and damaging nearly five vehicles in a bid to escape the authorities.
Director-General of the Northern Governorate Police stated an investigation regarding a stolen car led the police to the man who decided to flee the scene upon confrontation.
The hazardous escape resulted in the injury of three policemen as well the damage of two police patrol vehicles and three civilian vehicles.
Not long after the driver was arrested and detained.
The case has been referred to the Public Prosecution for legal proceedings.
