Military personnel assists trio in kidnapping a 15 year old boy…read on to know why
Three men allegedly kidnapped a 15-year-old boy after he failed to pay back the borrowed amount of BD50, the High Criminal Court heard.
The teenager told police that the trio was assisted by a military personnel to abduct him and he was also physically assaulted for not repaying the money.
“I was sitting in my friend’s car and the three approached me along with the military man. I owed BD50 to one of the three. They got me out of the car and pushed me into another car,” the victim told prosecutors.
“They took me to a beach in Busaiteen and began beating me demanding to the pay the amount,” the teenager said. “They said they wanted the money at the earliest and it did not matter even if I steal the amount from someone.”
A medical report indicated that the victim suffered bleeding from one of his eyes in the attack. The three have been charged with assault, while the military man faces a trial at the military court. The trio was held guilty by the High Criminal Court which awarded a three-year sentence.
