Meet on prohibition of chemical arms held

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs' Undersecretary and Chairman of the National Committee for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons Ambassador Abdulla Abdullatif Abdulla chaired in his office the Committee’s meeting yesterday.
The meeting discussed the importance of participation of the Committee’s members at The 20th Conference of the States Parties of the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW) to be held in The Hagu, the Netherlands, from November 30 to December 4.
They also discussed the Committee’s plans and programmes, which will be implemented during the fourth quarter of the current year, including inspection of the companies importing, exporting or producing chemical materials covered by the Chemical Weapons Convention (CWC).
