Manama: Ambassador Tirtha Raj Wagle thanks Bahrain for support as Nepal faces devastating floods
Nepal’s Ambassador to Bahrain, H.E. Tirtha Raj Wagle, expressed solidarity with communities affected by the devastating floods in Nepal, describing the loss of life and damage as unbearable.
Speaking to the Daily Tribune, Ambassador Wagle said the country is going through an extremely difficult period and expressed his sincere appreciation to Bahrain’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the people of Bahrain for their support during the crisis.
Meanwhile, the Government of Nepal has established an international donation fund to support disaster rescue, relief and rehabilitation efforts. The fund will help mobilise resources for communities affected by the floods and assist ongoing recovery operations.
