BDF, Finance Ministry Review Cooperation
Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, Commander General of the Bahrain Defence Force (BDF), received Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, Minister of Finance and National Economy, on Thursday.
The Commander General welcomed the Minister of Finance and National Economy. The meeting focused on matters related to cooperation and coordination between the Bahrain Defence Force and the Ministry of Finance and National Economy.
The meeting reflects ongoing coordination between the two sides in areas of mutual interest.
Defence Minister Receives Kuwaiti Attaché
Lieutenant General Abdullah bin Hassan Al Nuaimi, Minister of Defence Affairs, received Brigadier General Assistant Haji Raja Al Khayat Al Azmi, Military Attaché at the Embassy of Kuwait to Bahrain. The minister welcomed the Kuwaiti military attaché and praised the strong fraternal relations between Bahrain and Kuwait.
The meeting underscored the close ties between the two brotherly countries and their shared commitment to strengthening cooperation.
Bahrain-Jordan Defence Ties Discussed
Lieutenant General Abdullah bin Hassan Al Nuaimi, Minister of Defence Affairs, received Brigadier General Jihad Hamoud Omair Al Adwan, Military Attaché at the Embassy of Jordan to Bahrain.
The minister welcomed the Jordanian military attaché and praised the strong and longstanding fraternal relations between Bahrain and Jordan.
The meeting highlighted the close ties between the two brotherly countries and the importance of continued cooperation.
Bahrain-UK Economic Ties Discussed
Abdullah bin Adel Fakhro, Minister of Industry and Commerce, received Simon Martin, Chargé d’Affaires of the United Kingdom to Bahrain.
The minister affirmed the depth of the historical ties between Bahrain and the UK, highlighting the mutual commitment to advancing bilateral cooperation towards broader prospects of growth and development.
The meeting also reviewed several issues of mutual interest and discussed ways to further develop cooperation, particularly in the economic and commercial fields.
Electricity Minister Receives UK Envoy
Yasser bin Ibrahim Humaidan, Minister of Electricity and Water Affairs, received Simon Martin CMG, Chargé d’Affaires of the United Kingdom to Bahrain.
The meeting discussed ways to strengthen bilateral cooperation and exchange expertise, particularly in electricity, water and energy, in support of common interests. Simon Martin affirmed the UK’s keenness to continue strengthening cooperation with Bahrain and expanding areas of partnership.
NHRA, Radiologists Review Cooperation
Dr. Ahmed Mohammed Al Ansari, Chief Executive Officer of the National Health Regulatory Authority (NHRA), received Dr. Hussain Al Meer, President of the Radiologists Association at the Bahrain Medical Society, along with several association members.
Dr. Al Ansari affirmed the NHRA’s commitment to strengthening cooperation and coordination with specialised medical societies and associations to exchange expertise, develop professional practices and enhance the quality and efficiency of healthcare services in Bahrain.
The meeting reviewed areas of cooperation to develop professional practices in radiology and improve healthcare quality. Dr. Al Meer commended the NHRA’s efforts to strengthen engagement with medical societies and associations and highlighted the importance of joint efforts in supporting Bahrain’s healthcare sector.
