Bahrain resident stranded at Delhi airport for three days
Manama : A Bahrain resident was stuck in an airport in India for three days after he lost his luggage, with his passport in it. Bahrain bound Satyendra Singh was in transit in Delhi airport after leaving for Bahrain from Lucknow. However, he landed in a tricky situation after he found out that his luggage was taken from the airport by a passenger who travelled to Canada. He had to camp at the airport for three days until the issue was resolved.
“There was a long queue and a lot of rush. By the time I went to check my bag, it was nowhere to be seen. Footage later revealed that some other passenger had taken my bag,” Times of India quoted him as saying. The luggage was returned to Singh and he was able to travel to Bahrain.
