Bahrain leadership congratulated on Gulf Cup success
Manama : Supreme Council for Youth and Sports assistant general secretary and Bahrain Olympic Committee (BOC) general secretary Abdulrahman Askar has congratulated the kingdom’s leadership on the Bahrain national football team reaching the semi-finals of the 23rd Gulf Cup football championship, being held in Kuwait.
Askar extended sincere thanks to the leadership for its continued support for the Bahraini sport, and praised the backing of HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Personal Representative of His Majesty the King for Charity and Youth Affairs, Supreme Council for Youth and Sport Chairman and Bahrain Olympic Committee President.
“The outstanding level of the Bahraini team was the fruitful outcome of the leadership’s support for the Bahraini support, thanks to which, Bahraini athletes have shines at various sports gatherings,” said Askar.
