Fakhro, Qaed bag victory
Manama : Ali Fakhro and Ebramin Qaed defeated Naji Samaheeji and Ahmed Omran in straight sets 7-5, 6-3 in the second semi-final of The Late Yousif Khalil Almoayyed Cup - Men’s Doubles at the Bahrain Tennis Club (BTC) 2017 Ramadan Tournament at its premises in Juffair.
The victory for Fakhro and Qaed set up a final clash with Ahmed Al Mahmood and Mohammed Abo Hassan, which was being played last night.
Other competitions being played are The Late Ahmed Al Mahoozi Cup - BTC Masters Singles, with 10 players split into two groups of five playing five round-robin sets of matches, with the top two qualifying for the semi-finals on Fridayand the final set for Saturday.
In the other competition for The Late Majid Al Zayani Cup - Super Doubles, the semi-finals were taking place last night with the final set for tomorrow evening.
