First Target announces ‘New Look Expo’

Manama : First Target yesterday announced holding a three-day exhibition titled ‘New Look Expo’ at the Bahrain Exhibition Centre. 

Held under the patronage of Shaikh Hisham bin Abdul Rahman Al Khalifa, Governor of the Capital Governorate, the expo begins on 25 May 2017 at the Bahrain Exhibition Centre, Hall 2B. Timings are from 10:00 am to 10:00 pm. 

“We welcome all to the expo, which provides free entry to all,” said Jamal Dawood, CEO of the First Target, during a press conference held at the Intercontinental Regency. 

When asked about its significance, Dawood told DT News: “Expos like these would create a platform not only for the local companies but also enables the international companies to invest in Bahrain.”  

“It provides a platform allowing companies to meet prospective customers and market products and services,” he added. 

The press conference was held in the presence of Zaher Mohammed, Commercial Director of Extra Bahrain, Ali Zeinudin, Sales Director of Loreal & Maybelline Bahrain and Dr Momen Saad, Marketing Manager of Bonn International Company.

The expo, according to Jamal Dawood, has around 135 participants in the form of both international and local exhibitors, which “will not only attract local customers but also people from the rest of the Gulf”.

He further revealed that the products sold at the expo would be ensured to have “a low price” tag, with discounts going up to 75 per cent, providing customers with an affordable shopping experience. 

“We are also working towards hosting a larger shopping expo at the beginning of the next year, which would include five exhibitions under one umbrella,” he added.

‘New Look Expo’ includes exhibitors from fashion, cosmetics, perfumes, electronics, with a special focus on the Holy Month of Ramadan.
