Crown Prince receives CEO of SoftBank Group
Riyadh : His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa yesterday met the Chairman and CEO of SoftBank Group, Masayoshi Son, on the sidelines of the Arab Islamic American summit in Riyadh.
HRH the Crown Prince and Masayoshi Son discussed the strong bilateral ties that exist between Bahrain and Japan, and the commitment to working together to deepen the relationship in the years ahead.
HRH the Crown Prince emphasised that Bahrain looks forward to exploring new ways to advance cooperation and collaboration with Japan, including through investment in the technology sector.
The meeting included discussions on SoftBank’s goals and aspirations and its role using innovation to enhance services, as well as collaborative opportunities that can help support Bahrain’s strategic development goals across all sectors. Masayoshi Son thanked the Crown Prince for his continuous support to Bahraini-Japanese cooperation.
