Couple’s remand extended in drug smuggling case
Manama: The remand of a Bahraini couple accused of nexus with a drug smuggling racket has been renewed again by another 15 days, pending the case. According to court files, the duo were arrested at the Bahrain International Airport while trying to smuggle 14,260 grams of shabu as well as 12 narcotic pills.
