Grand Mosque visit for all residents during Eid
Manama : As part of its efforts to promote harmony between different faiths and cultures, Ahmed Al-Fateh Islamic Centre has invited Bahraini residents of all faiths to an Open House at Al Fateh Grand Mosque on Eid holidays.
The Eid Open House will be held on July 9 and 10, from 9am to 4pm to provide an opportunity for non-Muslim residents to tour the Grand Mosque and understand Eid Al Fitr.
“This programme is sponsored by Ministry of Justice and Islamic Affairs. It is conducted in joint cooperation with the Discover Islam Centre,” Ahmed Al-Fateh Islamic Centre said in a statement yesterday.
“Our Centre is dedicated to spreading the message of peace, love and peaceful co-existence among all people. We welcome all non-Muslim expatriates and tourists, who wish to visit this great architectural marvel and experience traditional Arabic hospitality in a serene atmosphere,” it said.
“There will be some special games for children and gifts for the visitors,” the Centre added.
