Bahrain highlight doctors' role
Manama: Deputy King HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa yesterday highlighted the role of professional organisations in supporting Bahrain’s development, and praised Bahraini doctors’ efforts in strengthening Bahrain’s healthcare sector.
The Deputy King made the statement during a meeting with the newly appointed board members of the Bahrain Medical Society, headed by Dr Abdullah Mohammed Raffei.
Prince Salman also noted the importance of maintaining the achievements of the Kingdom’s healthcare sector, to uphold the sector’s sustainability and high quality of services.
The Deputy King congratulated the newly elected board members, and emphasised the importance of their responsibilities in further developing the Medical Society’s role in the Kingdom.
On behalf of the Bahrain Medical Society, Dr Raffei and the newly elected board members appreciated Prince Salman’s vision and support in further developing the Kingdom’s health sector.
