In a first, energy efficient R&D opened

Manama: Earth Environmental Services WLL, a leading company in environmental services and sustainable energy efficiency development, yesterday launched a revolutionary, lighting and energy efficient R&D Centre, the first of its kind in the GCC region. Chief Executive of the Supreme Council for the Environment Dr Mohammed Mubarak bin Daina inaugurated the centre.

The Bahrain-based company has also launched an innovative product to save energy through Magnetic Energy Recovery (MER). The breakthrough technology will empower consumers to make the smart choice of not only conserving energy but also saving money.

Through MER the device, implemented using a simple retrofit installation is responsible for reducing energy costs in different lighting applications by utilising patented technology, which is both innovative and reliable. The use of MER extends the life of High Intensity Discharge (HID) Lights with magnetic ballast, besides reducing energy consumption.
