Indian Club Marks Independence
The Indian Club – Bahrain marked India’s 80th Independence Day on August 15 with a flag-hoisting ceremony attended by more than 100 members of the Indian community.
The early morning event at the club premises brought together Indian Club members, along with parents and children participating in the summer camp.
The ceremony began with the unfurling and hoisting of the Indian national flag, followed by a rendition of the Indian National Anthem.
The club’s General Secretary, Anil Kumar R., welcomed the gathering, while President Joseph Joy delivered the Presidential Address.
The celebration concluded with a breakfast for the attendees, bringing the community together in a warm and festive atmosphere.
