C-SIPA Drives Deeper Bahrain-UK Strategic Security Partnership
Lieutenant General His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, National Security Advisor and Royal Guard Commander, received Lieutenant General Sir Charles Collins, Deputy Chief of Defence Staff for Military Strategy and Operations of the United Kingdom.
The meeting was attended by Shaikh Khalid bin Ali bin Jaber Al Khalifa, Deputy National Security Advisor, and Shaikh Ahmed bin Abdulaziz Al Khalifa, Chairman of the Strategic Security Bureau.
HH Shaikh Nasser welcomed Lieutenant General Sir Charles Collins and highlighted the longstanding strategic relations between Bahrain and the UK, particularly their growing cooperation in military and defence fields.
He also emphasised the importance of the Comprehensive Security Integration and Prosperity Agreement (C-SIPA) as a key pillar of the two countries’ strategic partnership.
The two sides discussed ways to strengthen bilateral cooperation and coordination on shared challenges, while exchanging views on regional and international developments and efforts to promote security and stability.
