Unite Against Cross-Border Threats
Gulf security chiefs gathered in Riyadh this week for the 45th meeting of Directors General of Criminal Investigations and Police Departments of the Gulf Cooperation Council, with Bahrain represented by a senior security official.
Major General Abdulaziz Mayouf Al Rumaihi, Director General of Bahrain's General Directorate of Criminal Investigation and Forensic Science, attended the annual summit held at the GCC General Secretariat headquarters. He said the gathering reflects member states' shared commitment to strengthening coordination in the fight against crime.
Al Rumaihi warned of the growing threat posed by organised and cross-border criminal networks, stressing the need for unified regional action. He called for continued exchange of expertise and best practices among GCC security agencies to raise investigative standards and operational efficiency.
