Bahrain Extends Maritime Ban Hours to Enhance Sea Safety
The Ministry of Interior has announced revised timings for the maritime ban on fishing and pleasure boats as part of measures to protect coastal areas and enhance maritime safety.
Under the updated decision, the ban will be in effect daily from 6:30pm (18:30) until 4:00am (04:00), starting from July 16 and continuing until further notice.
The ministry said the move is part of ongoing procedures regulating maritime traffic, aiming to strengthen preparedness while safeguarding the security and safety of sailors and all sea users.
Sea users are urged to strictly follow the new timings, avoid approaching coastal areas during the restricted hours, and comply with the regulations to ensure their safety and avoid legal accountability.
