Education Ministry’s efforts highlighted
Education Minister Dr. Majid Al Nuaimi received yesterday Dr. Mohammed bin Bati Al Shamsi, from the Geneva Centre for Human Rights Advancement and Global Dialogue.
The minister informed Al Shamsi about the Education Ministry’s efforts to promote the concepts of human rights in school curriculum and student activities.
He also briefed him about the ministry’s Citizenship and Human Rights-Promoting Schools, currently implemented in intermediate
schools.
Dr. Al Shamsi lauded the efforts exerted by the Education Ministry to spread the concepts of human rights among students by including them in school curriculum and activities.
