The governor of Bahrain’s Northern Governorate chaired a meeting of the governorate’s security committee on Sunday, praising national directives and the Interior Ministry's role in strengthening security and stability across the kingdom.
The meeting was led by Northern Governor Hassan Abdullah Al Madani and attended by Deputy Governor Brigadier Abdullah Ali Maantar, Brigadier Waleed Al Boflasah, Deputy Director-General of the Northern Governorate Police Directorate, along with committee members.
At the outset, Al Madani lauded the vigilance of security agencies and the Interior Ministry’s departments for their ongoing efforts in implementing preventive plans aimed at safeguarding public order and protecting national achievements.
Members also reviewed proposals to form a specialised team to monitor safety and security requirements at swimming pools, as part of efforts linked to Bahrain’s Healthy Cities programme. The initiative aims to enhance public safety standards and reduce accidents, while ensuring a safer environment for citizens and residents.
