Bahrain–China Judicial Cooperation Discussed in Beijing
Manama, 11 May (BNA) — The Secretary-General of the Bahrain Council for International Disputes, Prof. Marika Patrani Bolson, held meetings with members of the judiciary in Beijing and Shanghai during an official visit to the China.
The visit aimed to enhance legal and judicial cooperation between the two friendly countries and explore ways to strengthen institutional relations in the field of dispute resolution and international legal practices.
During the meetings, both sides emphasized the importance of the longstanding friendship between Bahrain and China, highlighting mutual interest in further developing cooperation that serves the interests of both nations and their peoples.
Discussions included the exchange of judicial and legal expertise, as well as a review of best practices in court administration, dispute settlement mechanisms, and legal frameworks. The two sides also addressed several topics of common interest related to the development of judicial systems and international cooperation.
Prof. Bolson underscored Bahrain’s commitment to expanding partnerships with friendly countries, noting that such engagements contribute to enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of legal institutions and support the advancement of justice systems.
The Chinese side welcomed the visit and expressed appreciation for the growing cooperation with Bahrain, reaffirming its interest in strengthening dialogue and collaboration in judicial and legal fields.
The meetings concluded with both parties reaffirming their commitment to continued cooperation and the further development of bilateral relations in ways that support shared goals in legal and judicial advancement.
