Royal Police Academy Wraps Up Summer Camp

The Royal Police Academy has concluded its summer camp, held from August 16 to 29 as part of the Bahrainuna national plan aimed at strengthening national belonging and reinforcing the values of citizenship.

The camp featured an integrated programme of educational, awareness, training, sports, cultural and recreational activities, providing participants with a comprehensive experience combining learning, training, interaction and productive use of their free time.

The programme focused on strengthening national identity and reinforcing values of loyalty, belonging and citizenship, while promoting religious awareness and pride in Bahrain’s authentic customs and traditions.

It also sought to develop participants’ sense of responsibility and teamwork, while fostering a culture of dialogue, open-minded thinking and acceptance of others. These activities were designed to reinforce national values, develop participants’ personalities and prepare them positively for the future.

The camp further focused on developing participants’ abilities and appropriately nurturing their talents. It included activities aimed at enhancing leadership and life skills, dialogue, creative thinking and decision-making.

Participants were also introduced to the risks associated with crime and deviant behaviour, as well as concepts related to cybersecurity and artificial intelligence. The programme raised awareness of future requirements and challenges, including labour market demands, while encouraging participants to make use of available opportunities.

The camp included a range of educational, cultural and awareness workshops focused on developing personal, leadership and life skills. Scientific, technological, innovation, sports, recreational and cultural programmes were also organised.

As part of the programme, participants undertook field visits to a number of national institutions and facilities. These visits provided opportunities to explore different fields, strengthen interaction with community institutions and promote cooperation and teamwork.

The camp also featured activities highlighting the importance of community partnership and volunteer work, alongside initiatives promoting environmental awareness and social responsibility.

The Royal Police Academy said the programme contributes to strengthening ties between young people and state institutions and to preparing and developing a conscious generation capable of assuming responsibility and contributing actively to Bahrain’s national development journey.
