Bahrain strongly condemned Iran’s missile and drone attacks on the United Arab Emirates, describing them as a serious violation of international law, the UN Charter and principles of good neighbourliness.
In a statement issued on Friday, Bahrain’s Foreign Ministry said the attacks caused injuries and reflected Iran’s continued threats against the UAE. The ministry called on Iran to respect the sovereignty of regional countries, refrain from interfering in their internal affairs, and stop threatening maritime security in the Strait of Hormuz.
Bahrain reaffirmed its full solidarity with the UAE, stressing that both nations stand united under historic brotherly ties and the GCC joint defence agreement, which considers an attack on one member state an attack on all member states.
