A Porsche Cayman R, 22,000 kilometres, 22 countries, and one ambitious driver—Fahad Eid Adam. From the deserts of Bahrain to the snowy peaks of Norway, Fahad’s Grand Tour pushed the limits of endurance, passion, and engineering.

“I couldn’t believe that my dream was now a reality. That I had driven all the way from my home in Bahrain to Norway in my own Porsche,” he said. Adam’s journey is not just about distance; it’s about exploring the world in his own vehicle, connecting with people, and proving the Cayman R’s versatility across extreme climates and terrains.

The toughest challenge came during a non-stop 26-hour drive across Iraq. “I had no idea what we might have to face,” he said. Despite the uncertainty, he and co-driver Hamad Ramadhan pushed forward, experiencing generosity and warmth from locals along the way.

Milestones

Europe offered breathtaking roads and milestones. Driving Romania’s legendary Transfăgara an highway, parking at the Porsche Museum in Germany, and staying at unique accommodations in Norway created unforgettable moments. “I decided to drive it myself and, in a Porsche, and it was incredible!”

Yet the adventure was not without setbacks. Switzerland brought a major mechanical issue. “The last country I had the issue in the car… it was the most expensive country. This is something I will not forget because it was a really bad moment for me.”

Challenges

Even with challenges, Adam’s ambitions continue to grow. “It would be one million kilometers.”

So far, he has covered 22,000 kilometers across 22 countries, gaining international attention. Future plans include routes to Japan and the USA, aiming to cross 100 countries. Beyond mileage, he seeks human connection. “I don’t just want to have fun… I want to meet people, bring cultures together and share experiences.”

Every kilometer reinforces his love for Porsche and fuels a mission to explore continents, meet fellow enthusiasts, and inspire others in the global Porsche community.
