Bangladesh hails strong ties with Bahrain

His Excellency Md. Rais Hasan Sarower, ndc, the Ambassador of Bangladesh to the Kingdom of Bahrain, expressed pride in the longstanding bilateral relations between the two countries.

He affirmed confidence that these ties will continue to develop and flourish to serve the common interests of both nations.

In a message marking Bangladesh’s Great Independence and National Day today, H.E. the Ambassador extended his congratulations and best wishes to the Bangladeshi community in Bahrain and to the Bahraini people.

He highlighted the sacrifices made by Bangladesh’s freedom fighters, as well as the contributions of mothers and sisters, noting that their legacy continues to inspire future generations to uphold justice, dignity, and patriotism.

H.E. Ambassador Sarower also expressed Bangladesh’s solidarity with the people of Bahrain amid current regional challenges, wishing the Kingdom continued peace, stability, and security.

He pointed to the formation of Bangladesh’s new government on February 17, 2026, under Prime Minister Tarique Rahman, expressing optimism that the new administration would open a new chapter of constructive cooperation between Bangladesh and Bahrain.
