India–Bahrain Leaders Exchange Eid Greetings, Review West Asia Situation
Indian PM Narendra Modi held a telephone conversation with HM King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, during which both leaders exchanged warm greetings on the occasion of Eid al-Fitr.
The discussion focused on strengthening bilateral ties and reviewing the current situation in the West Asian region. Both leaders strongly condemned recent attacks targeting energy facilities and civilian infrastructure, emphasizing their negative impact on global food, fuel, and fertilizer security.
They also reiterated the importance of maintaining freedom of navigation and ensuring that vital shipping routes remain open and secure amid ongoing regional tensions.
Prime Minister Modi expressed appreciation for the Bahraini leadership’s continued support and care for the Indian community residing in the Kingdom, highlighting the strong people-to-people ties between the two nations.
