Bahrain Condemns Iranian Attack on Qatar’s Ras Laffan Industrial City

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Bahrain has strongly condemned and denounced an Iranian attack targeting the Ras Laffan Industrial City in the Qatar.

In an official statement, the ministry described the attack as part of a continued pattern of hostile actions against civilian, economic, and oil facilities across the region. It warned that such acts represent a dangerous escalation that threatens regional security and stability.

The statement further emphasized that the attack constitutes a clear violation of international law, principles of good neighborliness, and breaches United Nations Security Council Resolution 2817.

Bahrain reaffirmed its full solidarity with Qatar and expressed its unwavering support for all measures taken to safeguard its sovereignty, security, and stability.

The ministry also called on the international community, particularly the United Nations Security Council, to take firm and decisive action against such attacks, stressing the need to preserve the security of Gulf Cooperation Council countries and ensure the safety of their populations, while promoting regional and global peace, security, and sustainable development.
