Children Among 32 Injured in Sitra Attack
The Ministry of Health Bahrain confirmed that 32 civilians were injured following an Iranian drone attack targeting the Sitra area early this morning.
Among the injured are four critical cases, including children who required urgent surgical intervention. Authorities reported that a 17-year-old girl suffered severe head and eye injuries, while two children aged 7 and 8 sustained serious injuries to their lower limbs. The youngest victim is a two-month-old infant.
The ministry stated that all injured individuals are Bahraini citizens and are currently receiving treatment under approved medical protocols. Patients remain under close observation by specialized medical teams.
Health officials also confirmed that the national healthcare system has raised its readiness level across vital departments since the start of attacks targeting the Kingdom, ensuring hospitals and emergency units remain fully prepared to respond to any developments.
