Manama: Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, Interior Minister of the Bahrain, inspected homes damaged in the Juffair area on Sunday evening following what authorities described as indiscriminate and unjustified attacks targeting residential neighbourhoods and civilian sites.

During the visit, the minister checked on the wellbeing of Bahraini citizens and residents whose homes were affected. He conveyed the greetings of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and affirmed the King’s concern for the safety and security of all citizens and residents of the Kingdom.

The minister said Bahrain remains committed to a path of peace and to supporting efforts that strengthen security and stability, noting that these principles reflect the peaceful identity of the Bahraini people and their long-standing values of tolerance and coexistence.

He also conveyed the greetings of His Royal Highness Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, highlighting his concern for the safety and stability of citizens and his commitment to providing full support during all circumstances. He added that the Crown Prince has directed the government to cover the costs of repairing damage to the affected homes, reflecting the humanitarian approach of the Kingdom’s leadership.

The Interior Minister expressed appreciation to police personnel for carrying out their duties with professionalism and dedication during the exceptional circumstances. He also commended the efforts of Civil Defence officers for their courage and professionalism in responding to the situation and strengthening civil protection in coordination with other security agencies, including the National Ambulance and traffic authorities.

He warned that anyone who betrays their national duty by cooperating in attacks against Bahrain — such as filming sensitive sites and vital facilities and publishing them on social media to be used in hostile actions — will be considered a partner in the aggression and will face legal consequences in accordance with the law.
