The General Command of the Bahrain Defence Force has announced that its air defense systems continue to respond to successive waves of what it described as Iranian terrorist attacks targeting the Kingdom.

According to the statement, Bahrain’s air defense units have successfully intercepted and destroyed 84 missiles and 147 drones since the beginning of the attacks aimed at the Kingdom of Bahrain.

The command praised the vigilance and combat readiness of its personnel, stating that the advanced preparedness and high level of alert demonstrated by the force have played a crucial role in safeguarding the country’s airspace. It emphasized pride in the operational efficiency shown by its forces in protecting the Kingdom and ensuring the safety of its skies.

Authorities also urged the public to remain inside their homes and only go out in cases of extreme necessity, while exercising the highest levels of caution for their safety. Residents were advised to stay away from damaged locations and any suspicious objects, avoid filming military operations or debris impact sites, and refrain from spreading rumors.

The statement further encouraged the public to rely only on official sources and government media channels for accurate information, alerts, and safety instructions.

The General Command added that the use of ballistic missiles and drones to target civilian areas and private property constitutes a serious violation of international humanitarian law and the United Nations Charter. It warned that such indiscriminate attacks pose a direct threat to regional peace and security.
