Over 30,000 Users Benefit from Bahrain’s Enhanced Property Verification Service
As part of ongoing government efforts to enhance the quality of services and restructure their delivery, the Survey and Land Registration Bureau has launched the second version of its “Ta’akad” service, now featuring access to real estate price data. The move aims to increase transparency and provide reliable information to support decision-making in the real estate sector.
The service allows users to view average property prices within a specific complex by entering the complex number or property number. Price indicators for the past three years are displayed based on accurate and reliable data, enabling users to track real estate market trends and estimate the true value of properties according to actual transactions of similar properties in the same area.
In this context, His Excellency Eng. Bassem bin Yaqoub Al-Hamar, Chairman of the Survey and Land Registration Bureau, emphasized that the new feature adds significant value to the service by relying on real estate transaction data, which is updated automatically. He clarified that the displayed indicators are for guidance purposes and reflect market activity over the specified periods.
Al-Hamar also noted that the service provides price indicators for various types of properties, including land, apartments, and houses, offering users a comprehensive analytical view to better understand the real estate market and make data-driven decisions.
He pointed out that “Ta’akad” continues to see increasing demand due to its ability to instantly verify a property’s status and ensure it is free from restrictions that could prevent transactions. Since its initial launch in February last year, the service has been used by more than 30,000 users as of January 2026.
The service achieved a significant milestone by winning first place in the 2025 Bahrain Digital Content Awards under the Smart Settlements and Urban Expansion category in July 2025, reflecting its quality and positive impact on the development of digital services. The launch of the second version of “Ta’akad” aligns with the government’s adoption of innovative digital solutions aimed at expanding the data available to users, improving access to real estate information, enhancing procedural efficiency, and increasing transparency in the real estate market.
Al-Hamar confirmed that development of the service is ongoing, demonstrating the Bureau’s commitment to supporting the government’s vision to improve the efficiency and quality of all government services, simplify procedures, and ensure smooth service delivery. This initiative forms part of the Government Program 2023–2026 and aligns with its focus on governmental performance and digital transformation.
It is noteworthy that, as part of continuous government efforts to develop and restructure public services, over 1,300 government services have been documented, translated, and published. Of these, 800 services underwent development and re-engineering across various sectors, based on feedback collected through the National Suggestions and Complaints System (“Tawasul”), investor input, and secret shopper reports evaluating government services. Additionally, service guides and service-level agreements have been launched to enhance procedural efficiency, improve service quality, elevate user experience, and support the government’s digital transformation journey.
