Bahrain, Kuwait Stress Unity and Regional Stability

Strengthening the close ties between the two brotherly nations, His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, met today with His Highness Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Mubarak Al-Sabah, Crown Prince of the State of Kuwait, during an official visit to Kuwait.

The meeting highlighted the depth of Bahrain–Kuwait relations and the continued expansion of cooperation between the two countries, supported by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and His Highness Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, Amir of Kuwait.

His Royal Highness conveyed the greetings of His Majesty the King to the Crown Prince of Kuwait, wishing the State of Kuwait continued progress and prosperity. In turn, His Highness extended his greetings to His Majesty the King and wished the Kingdom of Bahrain further growth and development.

During the meeting, both sides reaffirmed their shared commitment to strengthening cooperation across all sectors, particularly in the economic and investment fields, with the aim of achieving mutual aspirations and promoting sustainable growth and prosperity for both countries and their peoples.

They also reaffirmed their dedication to advancing joint Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) efforts in line with the visions and aspirations of GCC leaders. In this context, His Royal Highness reiterated Bahrain’s commitment—within the framework of the 46th GCC Summit, chaired by Bahrain—to enhancing integration and cooperation among GCC member states and promoting shared objectives and common interests.

His Royal Highness praised Kuwait’s role in supporting and strengthening bilateral relations, highlighting its steadfast support for Bahrain and affirming the importance of continued collaboration in pursuit of shared interests and common goals.

The meeting also reviewed several bilateral issues of mutual concern.

For his part, the Crown Prince of Kuwait welcomed His Royal Highness’s official visit, noting that it reflects the strong and enduring ties between the two countries.

Following the meeting, His Highness the Crown Prince of Kuwait hosted a lunch banquet in honour of His Royal Highness. The banquet was attended by His Highness Sheikh Ahmad Abdullah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, Prime Minister of Kuwait, along with several senior Kuwaiti officials.
