KSCA Bahrain Celebrates Mannathu Padmanabhan Jayanti; Honors Prominent Community Leaders

TDT I Manama 

The Kerala Social and Cultural Association (KSCA) in Bahrain celebrated the birth anniversary of the legendary social reformer Bharata Kesari Mannathu Padmanabhan with a series of commemorative events.

The ceremony, held at the KSCA headquarters, featured the special honoring of Pamba Vasan Nair, a former association president and recipient of the Pravasi Bharatiya Excellence Award. P.V. Radhakrishna Pillai, President of the Bahrain Keraleeya Samajam and a Pravasi Bharatiya Samman awardee, delivered the keynote address, reflecting on the reformer's enduring legacy.

During the event, accolades were also presented to Jaya Menon, Santhosh Kailas, and Suja J.P. Menon for their contributions. The proceedings were presided over by KSCA President Rajesh Nambiar, while General Secretary Dr. Bindu Nair delivered the welcome address.

The cultural segment of the program included a presentation song composed by Manumohanan and Rajeev Vellikkoth, performed by Samvruth Satheesh and Prarthana Raj. A notable Sopana Sangeetham performance by association members further enriched the spiritual atmosphere of the celebration.

The event, convened by Adarsh Madhavan Kutty, was coordinated by the KSCA Executive Committee and the Women’s Wing, led by Rama Santhosh. The stage proceedings were managed by Rajitha Manoj and Liba Rajesh.
