Foreign Minister and Diplomatic Corps Tour Muharraq Nights Festival

His Excellency Dr. Abdul Latif bin Rashid Al Zayani, Minister of Foreign Affairs, accompanied by heads of foreign missions accredited to Bahrain, visited the Muharraq Nights Festival today. The diplomatic delegation included Ambassador Sheikh Abdullah bin Ali Al Khalifa, Director General of Bilateral Relations, and Ambassador Rami Saleh Wreikat Al Adwan, Dean of the Diplomatic Corps.
The group toured historical landmarks including the Qaisariya Market, the Pearl Museum, and restored heritage houses. They were briefed on the festival’s cultural program, which showcases folk arts and archaeological sites reflecting Bahrain’s ancient past and its significant pearl industry.
Dr. Al Zayani praised the Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities for organizing the event, noting its success as a major tourist attraction for GCC citizens and residents. He specifically commended the architectural restoration efforts in Muharraq’s neighborhoods, which preserve the Kingdom’s cultural legacy. The visiting ambassadors expressed their admiration for the festival’s vibrant performances and heritage sites, recognizing them as vital contributors to Bahrain’s tourism and civilizational identity.
