Bahrain Welcomes U.S. Efforts to Resolve Russian-Ukrainian Conflict
The Kingdom of Bahrain has expressed its support for the United States’ efforts, led by President Donald Trump, to bring an end to the ongoing conflict between Russia and Ukraine.
According to a statement from Bahrain’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the initiative is grounded in diplomatic, security, and humanitarian principles, with the goal of promoting peace and stability, fostering mutual understanding, encouraging economic cooperation, and preventing the spread of nuclear weapons.
The Ministry described the U.S. initiative as a “significant diplomatic step” toward achieving a lasting ceasefire and reinforcing stability across Europe. Bahrain reiterated its commitment to supporting regional and international efforts to resolve conflicts through dialogue and negotiation, alleviate humanitarian consequences, and advance security and sustainable peace, in full compliance with international law and the United Nations Charter.
