‘Vindhyavali’ Dance and Musical to Premiere at BKS Onam Celebration

The Bahrain Keraleeya Samajam (BKS) is set to captivate audiences with its dance-musical play, ‘Vindhyavali’.

This vibrant production is centered on Vindhyavali, the wife of the legendary King Mahabali, whose return is commemorated during the Onam festival.

This performance, presented under the auspices of the BKS Ladies Wing, is scheduled for tomorrow, at 8:00 PM at the BKS Diamond Jubilee Hall as part of the Sraavanam 2025 Onam celebrations.

Movie star

The event will be graced by the presence of the renowned movie star and the first female president of the Association of Malayalam Movie Artists (AMMA), Mrs. Shwetha Menon, as the chief guest.

Known for her stellar performances in Indian cinema, Menon’s attendance adds a touch of elegance to this cultural extravaganza.

Written and choreographed by Vidyasree, a distinguished dance teacher and actress based in Bahrain, Vindhyavali brings to life the lesser-known moments of Vindhyavali’s journey, reimagined through a mesmerizing blend of dance and music.

The production promises a unique narrative, shedding light on a character often overlooked in traditional stories and legends.
