MP commends royal directive on passport renewals for Bahrainis

MP Hassan Ebrahim welcomed the royal directive by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa to renew the passports of Bahrainis returning from Kuwait who were recently stripped of Kuwaiti nationality, restoring their freedom to travel.
He said the move shows HM the King’s concern to bring Bahraini families back together and keep them bound, and it shows Bahrain’s standing in upholding human rights and honouring its people.
The lawmaker added that Bahrainis value the step and prayed for HM King Hamad, asking for lasting peace and stability.
MP Ebrahim said the step also points to strong national unity and the leadership’s care to see every Bahraini enjoy all their rights, wherever they are, with the citizen at the centre of growth and the base of stability.
