Municipality enforces eviction at Eastern Coast premises

After extensions failed and debts mounted, the Capital Municipality evicted a company from its Eastern Coast premises under a final court judgment, ahead of demolition.
A technical and legal team attended the site to check compliance with the order and oversaw the full clearance of the property.
The company’s rightto-use contract with the Municipality had already expired.
Settlement
The ruling followed the use of all legal and administrative routes, including extra time and repeated attempts to reach an agreed settlement.
The investor did not settle what was due or meet its contract terms, leading to the final judgment.
The Municipality said it will continue to apply the law, protect public property and ensure sound use of municipal assets, taking legal action against any investor that fails to honour contract terms or pay what is owed.
